BharatMatrimony – PunjabiMatrimony

Illustration depicting thought.

Chachu Kamlaa had thought due to pressure upon himself, he should start thinking if getting hitched. Though it was quite early for his age, but the thought nonetheless was noble.

Chachu thus made a profile on a leading matrimony site BharatMatrimony last night, and they automatically redirected him to PunjabiMatrimony, since he being a Punjabi dude or something!

After making a profile at night, he received an automated confirmation call soon then itself. And the next morning he received a call from BharatMatrimony at 10.37am and again at 10.39am (since he missed the earlier one) telling him about their premium features.

The customer care guy told him about what the features were, what premium features would include, the cost for it and then asked if Chachu would like to go for it.
Chachu declined.
CC Guy then was like ‘When would you like to go for it?’.
Chachu didn’t  plan to, so thats what he clearly told him.

CC Guy then suggested what is the point of keeping a profile there and that he should delete it.

Way to go guys.
What a way to get into the Limca Book of Records.
Paying your way to get in there?

Plagiarising Sikh Youth

When a work of art Plagiarised.                      It’s BAD.
When a work of religious art Plagiarised!        It’s bad, and it is SAD.

That is what has been done by the people of Sikh Youth Club

Media_httpsikhiartfil_bhlcg

They have taken a beautiful picture of Guru Gobind Singh ji in the forests of Machhiwara, and made it their own.

They simply:

  • removed the logo of SikhiArt.com,
  • got rid of artist’s (Bhagat Singh Bedi) signature, and date of painting,
  • airbrushed it to look complete after changes,
  • removed leaves at the left bottom.

And as blasphemous as people can be, they simply just inserted their own website‘s name in there!

These are the times, I wish India had a strict copyright system in place, so that an action could be taken against those responsible for such a blatant theft!

You be the judge and decide if the photos at:

Jobs no more

THE Steve Jobs has died.

Applecom_homepage_after_death_

It’s a black day for the technology world. Father of the third Apple that changed the world is no more.

“Three apples have changed the world.

One seduced Eve.

Second awakened Newton.

The Third one was in the hands of Jobs.”

via Steve Jobs: The monk who left India to make i-Products – The Times of India.

I got the news from twitter like many others.
From the initial few tweets I couldn’t fathom it, few more tweets with #RIPSteveJobs hashtag were required to make me understand it and ever since I haven’t been able to come to terms with it.

And it weirds me out to why I feel such! Its not like me to keep wondering for so much over someOne’s death – known or unknown to me!

Maybe it is because I have admired all of his products – from the early Macintosh (from my time in US), his Mac, iMacsiPhonesiPad etc., even though I got around to my first Apple product just few weeks back on September 24!

Respect is the word, ALL the Way Mr. Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs!
Rest In Peace!

It is so unfair that he died on Dussehra Day by IST. Dussehra is supposed to be victory of good over evil, not death over genius!
